How to go about your home renovation?

Firstly, research the different interior design styles that you like and if there are any special requirements eg a work area, a play area etc that you have. Know your rough budget and a specific completion time. Meet with a few interior designers and show them photos of what you like from your research. In the meeting, you should be able to feel if they understand what you want and also if they provide valuable advice. The selected firms will revert with a layout plan based on the discussions and a renovation quote for your consideration. Choose someone whom you trust and are most comfortable with as you have to work closely for the next 8 to 16 weeks (or more) from start to end depending on size and complexity of the renovation.
